Techitos is an industrial plant for cheese production for the La Holandesa cheese factory, a 1,000 sqm building that houses warehouses, offices, and production facilities.

The 11,000 industrial building, marked by an aluminum exterior and a series of gabled roofs, is designed to reflect the many functions of the company that occupies it, blending tradition and modernity in aesthetics.

The building's largest warehouse is designed as a temperature controlled storage area for cheese. polyurethane panels have been specified on the inner skin which thermally insulate the internal space from the outside. In the building's largest warehouse, we find controlled temperature storage for cheese. The inner skin is covered by polyurethane panels that thermally insulate the inner space from the outside.

The office areas are located in the smaller warehouses. The vaulted ceilings in the office and meeting areas create a triple height space that allowed the internal lights to be conceived as a sculpture by the lighting designer as they used this space to vary the position of the fixtures. The scheme also incorporates a courtyard with a central tree to provide workers with a place for rest and contemplation.

More broadly, Techitos was designed to echo the surrounding Andes mountain ranges, with landscaping and architectural elements that are undulating forms.
